"The building is obviously old but has been well looked after and is clean. Bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent! Signage approaching the hotel could be clearer as well as inside the hotel."

"Single room was suitable for me but probable not for all as it has no window. Clean and tidy though. Limited food available on the first two days. Very busy with international visitors. Staff very pleasant and helpful."

"The resort is quite old and in some spots pretty rundown. The cleaning team does a great job with what they have. when it comes to the support staff We found a range between some who were kind and helpful and others who seemed as if they were a bit hungover and couldn't be bothered"

"Unique older hotel with modern rooms, but exterior renovations are needed. Rooms were quite spacious and comfortable. Delightful staff. Great bar/pub area with two large complimentary snooker tables."

"Excellent helpful staff, spacious room, very good breakfast with lots of options. Helpful with an item left after our stay. Only issue was the sink and mirror were very low."

"The hotel is beautiful and the amenities such as the pool, workout room, etc. are excellent. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the finer dining restaurant. The service was great at check in, check out and the restaurant. Our room was extremely spacious and very nice. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the sitting area very nice. The big negative is there is no air conditioning. I guess I should have assumed this since the building is so old but we have stayed at older places that have been renovated and there is air conditioning. The hallways and common places in the hotel are so comfortable and it feels as though there is air conditioning there but not in the rooms."
