"I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"Nicely appointed home just outside of Ponta Delgada. Clean, and spacious with beautiful gardens. We were 2 couples on our first visit to Sao Miguel and the proximity to the airport and city gave us the perfect "home base" while traveling the beautiful island of Sao Miguel. Would highly recommend for both couples traveling and families."

"Such and amazing home and the location and views were better than we could have imagined. The hosts provided everything we could have needed and the tea and treats they left for us upon arrival were a lovely surprise. Perfect location to easily get to Furnas and Ribeira Grande. Beach cafe and restaurant within walking distance served delicious food. If we ever return we would stay here again!"

Die Lage eignet sich super für Ausflüge auf die ganze Insel, da man recht schnell auf der Schnellstraße ist - aber auch die Gegend um Caloura & Agua de Pau hat von Meer über Restaurants bis zu Wanderungen viel zu bieten. Die Farm lädt zudem zu kleinen Spaziergängen runter bis tur Steilküste ein."
