"The property is great, but the entire staff was the best part of the experience. Very helpful and friendly! They were willing to go above and beyond to ensure a great guest experience. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel's location gives a breathtaking view of the ocean- there's also a small walking path along the edge of the peninsula which is perfect for a morning walk! The hotel was very clean with friendly staff. The outdoor pool had a bit of clean algae sticking along the swimming pool, which is understandable since the weather there is so labile. My husband and I didn't stay too much inside the hotel, but some things we noticed was: no microwave inside the rooms & the food from the restaurant was very salty (prob true for all Azorean food). The gym is also located inside the indoor swimming area which was very humid. But location wise- it was perfect! maximum 45 min drive to all the touristy spots. However, if you want access to food (other than hotel food), I would recommend staying close to ponta delgada."
