"We liked our one bedroom corner suite. When we arrived our unit A/C wasn’t working and within an hour, hotel management changed us to an equal replacement. Bed was comfortable. Onsite parking was sufficient. The breakfast that was included with our stay was a good value and staff went out of their way to show us how to use the coffee machine. The property was peaceful, matching the island vibes. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Antillia. My room was very spacious and had a view of the ocean. The beds were quite firm, which I'm used to but may be less comfortable for others - they did have a top sheet, which many places in Europe do not, so I was happy with this. The bathroom had a hair dryer and good water pressure in the shower. The room was quite cool inside which was a refreshing break from the humidity outside. Everything was clean and functional. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They were able to store my bags upon arrival and provide me with guidance on where to walk to access food, drink, and sites to see. I thought the location was excellent - there were restaurants and grocery stores very close by, and it was a quick walk to the port and to the various botanical gardens and other sites. The roads are very narrow there and some drivers may be uncomfortable with this but I found it was very easy to access the hotel, and there is paid parking available right outside the lobby (around 4-5 euros overnight). My only complaint would be with the bar area - I was seated near the windows next to the pool and when people went outside to smoke, even with the door shut the smell of cigarettes was very overwhelming inside the bar for some reason. Other than this, it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend Hotel Antillia to other travellers!"

"Staff was very nice. Wife and I traveled with 2 teenage kids and the suite with 2 roll aways was the best way for us to stay (kids choice bunks only for kids up to 10). The hotel is walking distance from lots of restaurants and shops. P Delgada is convenient to highway if you want to go East or West for activities."

"Wonderful location on the Ponta Delgada waterfront, with a small balcony. Our room was immaculate and spacious. Bathroom was very good. The parking situation has some problems. There is parking in a garage under the hotel for a reasonable fee, but only the upper level is connected by elevator to the hotel. The lower level has a separate entrance and difficult foot access. Parking spaces on both levels are too narrow."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Hotel Ponta Delgado. The room was clean and the bed very large. The pool and hot tub is probably the hotel's greatest asset - along with the staff who were very friendly and helpful. It was a joy to stay there and very close to the town centre too. At an affordable price we were very happy to spend 5 days. The breakfast area is very clean and we enjoyed breakfast but could do with a bit of a facelift. It has the feel of a canteen rather than hotel breakfast area and some love and attention would benefit it. We loved the pancake machine! Would have liked to take it home. All in all a great hotel and very useful for seeing the rest of the city and the wonderful island."
