"The hotel, guest rooms, restaurant, and service were excellent. We loved our hotel room - junior suite XL for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens. The walk to Old Town area was farther than I thought, but I found a bus stop just outside of the hotel through the OBB mobile app that was fast. You can walk to the train station for more eating options."

"Great hotel right in the heart of the old town in Salzburg. Room was massive and had that old word charm to it. Bed was mostly comfortable although for a superior room putting two single beds together isn’t a great look. Loved that there was a proper coffee machine too"

"Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Salzburg. Easy walking distance to several attractions nearby. Very modern and clean rooms and fantastic breakfast as well as cafe/bar. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating for our stay. In fact, we had lost a bag on a city bus the day we arrived. The front desk staff overheard our situation, and thanks to their help, we were able to track down the bag and save our vacation! 5 stars for the Arthotel Blaue Gans!"

"Good size, updated room with air conditioning. This hotel was the first one we’ve had on this trip that had an outlet in the bathroom for curling wand. Breakfast was good with large variety. Hotel was a little difficult to locate as you can drive in a pedestrian zone to get to it for easy unloading/loading. Code is needed in later day to access pedestrian zone. The sign for hotel was quite small with small lettering. A member of our group had to walk around the area to find it while we waited in our car in the very busy pedestrian zone. Parking garage easily accessible down a few blocks from hotel. "
