"The folks at Creekwood were extremely kind and helpful. It had the most comfortable mattress of any place we stayed on a multi city trip! The building is older and could use some remodeling but it was cleaner than I expected. And for pricey Anchorage, the Creekwood was a great value! It’s not far from Merrill Field, where most of the small planes to remote areas depart. There’s also an REI in walking distance to the hotel. But the Creekwood’s staff really were the best part."
