Great property and staff, only downsides are pay parking, lack of free coffee stand in lobby because there is a Starbucks counter instead, and the streets around the hotel have some of the most aggressive panhandlers I have seen even compared to San Fransisco or other large cities.

This is an amazing property! We stayed in the cobblestone suite. It had a separate seating area, access to a wonderful balcony, a walk-in shower, and a comfortable king size bed. They also provided extra linen/blankets in the closet. It can be a little confusing on how to access the security desk where you check in and then the hotel but if you follow the very detailed instructions that they send to you and use Google maps to locate the areas you will be fine. Great location , parking and staff. Restaurant wasn’t great, beautiful bathroom and clean room altogether

Staff was exceptionally courteous and very willing to assist in any way. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. A good variety of breakfast each day. The one thing we didn’t like was the parking fee, it was too high ($25) per night and some nights it was full and we had to park in the street. We will stay there again when we visit my daughter in college. It’s convenient and the pricing is good.

Good walking distance to museums and the Civil Rights Institute

Staff was great just a bit loud with noise from the nearby train track situation. Great walkable location

I didnt get his name but the gentleman at the front desk was really efficient and kind. He made my daughter and granddaughter feel really welcome. We were there because of its close proximity to Children's Hospital.

The staff was amazing!!! Actually beyond amazing. I wish I remembered the young lady at the front desk’s name but she was super helpful. She gave us so many great recommendations for restaurants. The hotel not only offered airport shuttle service but also provided shuttle to local attractions. Saved us money on Ubers. The driver (I believe was named Sam) was just a kind good hearted man. There’s no other place I would think about staying next time while I’m in Birmingham

The breakfast was by far the best thing about this stay. They had plenty of hot eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The staff was helpful and the coffee was hot. Shady area of town, but not much choice around the airport in bham.
