The Golden Lion was absolutely wonderful and we will stay here again the next time I come to Bridgnorth to visit my musician friends. The room was surprisingly large and bathroom up to date for the historical age of the building. It was very relaxed, they served a lovely traditional UK breakfast and accommodated my gluten free needs as well as flexibility on our check in time due to a rehearsal I had to get to. The town of Bridgnorth is beautiful and the Golden Lion was right in the heart of...

This was a true guesthouse experience. I felt like I was visiting an old friend and was treated with remarkable generosity and kindness. The house is charming and well located. My bedroom was cozy and clean and lovely in every way. Breakfast was delicious especially the fresh fruit bowl.

Stayed at Brockencote in early September 2026. It was a very enjoyable visit. Highly recommend for peace and quiet, friendly staff, beautiful location, safe and easy parking, short distance to many local attractions. Must do's include Harvington Hall, Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, Black Country Living Museum, Worcester. It is also not too far from Cotswolds tourist sites. The staff were excellent. I would be remiss if I did not thank Tom, Josh and Angela in the bar area for their...

This was our second stay at The Hundred House and once again they were utterly wonderful. It's a beautiful location, a stunning historical building, with faultless hospitality and exceptional food. The location is perfect for Ironbridge, the RAF museum at Cosford, or Telford itself, and compared to the prices of boring chain hotels in the area it is staggeringly good value. I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.
