"Everything was as expected it was cosy and convenient, near several pubs and shops and just a half hour bus ride into Oxford. We also used it as a base for Bicester, the British Motor Museum and the Aston Heritage trust! So much to see in Oxford and surrounds and this is a great place to stay! Very good value for money "

With Hammersmith Bridge closed to car/bus traffic, Barnes is a quaint and quiet enclave in busy London. Good access to Central London and Heathrow or Gatwick (we needed both) via public transit. "Stayed for 3 days at end of school summer holidays-2 adults and 2 teens (age 14 & 15) and 1 dog. House is very well equipped and decorated and furnished to a high standard. Good quality bedding and towels. Chipping Norton has everything needed for a short stay-shops, good pubs (particularly the Blue Boar), a lido in summer and little cinema. Visited the Cotswolds Wildlife park but queue was far too long To get in so went to Batsford Arboretum instead which was perfect for a long dog walk. Also...

"A lovely cottage very well presented. Matthew was really helpful and we enjoyed sitting in the garden with a barbecue and glass of wine in the warm evening sunshine after a day at the races. The low ceilings took a little getting used to but added to the quirkiness and atmosphere of the cottage. The downstairs shower we shared was excellent with plenty of hot water for everyone. "Communication from the owners was poor right up until the day of check in. I made contact a few days before we were due to stay, to understand the process of check in. After reading my messages, they totally ignored them and we had to call the night before to make sure that our booking was actually in place.
