"Love this Hotel. The staff are always helpful and friendly. There is a wonderful relaxing ambience throughout. This was our second stay at The White Buck and won't be out last. Totally recommend to any one wanting a quiet relaxing stay in the New Forest."

"The room was perfect, lovely bathroom as well, however the hotel experienced a power outage overnight & therefore there was no hot water, lighting, no hot food for breakfast - and for whatever reason the toilets wouldn’t flush, which nobody seemed to realise. We had to pack the relative darkness looking for our belongings from the lights from our phones, and finding a way down the corridors in a huge sprawling hotel in the dark was quite tricky. I realise this is not exactly the hotels fault but...

"Can not fault any aspect of two nights spent in the Burley Inn, nothing was too much trouble from all the staff we came into. Lorraine and Steve were particularly helpful, friendly and very polite. One very small negative point there was not a USB charging point in the room but a this was overcome by the staff providing a plug with a USB attachment. Would stay in the Burley Inn again without any hestitation if and when I am in the Area. Mike Glendinning "

"Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!"

"It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process."

"We booked 2 sea view rooms for 3 nights. Only one room had a sea view and the bathroom in that room had black mould around the ceiling. The other room had a very old mattress and the bedding was old and thin. The pillows in that room were flat. We checked out after 1 night and will not be back. Whilst the staff were friendly, this hotel needs refurbishment, new mattresses, new duvets, pillows, blankets and linen. Mould is injurious to health and no hotel of the calibre that this hotel...

"The Leonardo hotel in Southampton is decent value for money. The room is spacious, and the staff simply amazing. Little if any noise gets in from outside so you’ll have a great night sleep, and the breakfast is very good for this price bracket. However the location is a bit… weird. If you’ve stepped off the airport bus (itself great value) at Giddy Bridge and approach the hotel it’s just… awkward to get into. "We visited the Chilworth Manor Hotel for our mini moon after we got married. The receptionist was very rude and abrupt when we arrived to pay before our wedding (before we got married) and made us feel unwelcome from the get go. We had booked an executive room which isn’t the cheapest room in the property and we were placed in a dark and dingy room with dark patches and holes on the netted curtain (room 6) clearly not the mini moon we expected however as we arrived at 1 am we were unable to...

"The hotel is well located within Lyndhurst and for the New Forest. Staff are polite and friendly, there is large car park for the hotel. Good Breakfast, from continental to full English. Our room was clean and well maintained, with a comfortable bed. "

"Staff at check in were great. Car park was very full because there's a public gym at the hotel. Hotel rooms are weird - there's only a window in the bathroom. No fresh air available in the actual hotel room. Air con system is rubbish. Room was dusty throughout. Terrible night's sleep because there was a thumping noise coming from above my room - it sounded as if we were directly under the gym and there was always someone throwing weights at all hours. Not a good experience. "
