"The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. The room is modern and clean. I booked for two nights, but we actually stayed for just one and a half nights since we checked out at midnight to catch the bus to the airport at 12:40 AM for our 6 AM flight, as we were informed that a taxi would cost us 65 Euros. To save money, we decided to check out early and take the bus instead. The air conditioning works great, and there’s a kettle for making coffee, which I used since I brought my own tea bags. The receptionists are very nice. The breakfast is good, and overall, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again if I return to Venice."

"Excellent clean and conveniently located air conditioned hotel with cheerful, helpful staff. As it was our first time to Venice we particularly appreciated being met at the airport and assisted by Francesca. Be aware that in Italy when you’re on the 3rd floor that’s North American 4th and there is no elevator. Francesca carried our bags up and the daily trips up and down certainly strengthened our legs! Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"★★★★★ We had a wonderful stay at Turati Inn! The room was exceptionally clean, and the location was very convenient—just a four-minute walk from Termini Station. We bought breakfast at one of the cafés inside the station, which offered a great price. Our host, Laura, was attentive and checked in with us starting the day before we arrived. Five stars for everything!"

"Great location in a well maintained older building (as with all of central Venice). Room was a bit small but modern, clean and brightly appointed. Other larger rooms are available. Would definitely recommend. Only minus is that the elevator does not go to the ground floor."

"First day there, no hot water for shower. Had choice to take a shower in another room or pack up everything and take another room. We did the latter which was a big waste of time. Find out they knew of the problem prior day yet they still gave us the room. Location was ideal. Breakfast was first class. Check shower before you unpack."
Duodo Palace Hotel

"**Charming historic gem in the heart of Venice** Staying at Hotel Duodo felt like stepping into old Venice. The building is historic and full of character, and the interiors are beautifully decorated with real attention to detail. Every corner feels elegant and warm, exactly what you hope for in a Venetian hotel. The staff were wonderful. They were kind, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and they made our stay feel easy and personal. The location is the hotel's biggest strength. Piazza San Marco is just a short walk away, and you're surrounded by shops, cafés, and restaurants. Almost everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, which made exploring the city a pleasure. It's a great base for first-time visitors. A few things to know before booking: breakfast isn't included and costs about €20, so you may prefer to try one of the many cafés nearby. The hotel isn't right at the water taxi stop or the train station, so plan for a walk with your luggage when you arrive. The rooms also don't have blackout curtains or dark blinds, and it gets very bright early in the morning. Light sleepers should bring an eye mask. Overall, Hotel Duodo is a lovely, centrally located hotel with beautiful décor, plenty of charm, and excellent service. The small inconveniences are easy to manage, and I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Venice."

"Great place to stay if you want to tour Venice without actually staying in the Lagoon. This hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the staff were pleasant. It's a really short walk to the train station (€1.50 to catch it) and was reasonably priced. There is a parking garage just down the street which was discounted for hotel guests. The buffet breakfast was average, and the train was a bit loud, but overall a nice place to stay."
