This is the Best Best Western I have ever seen. It felt like we were in the Victorian period. No A/C in guest rooms, ocean breeze through windows and fan were just fine. The staff was amazing arranging dinner and taxis since there in no Uber/Bolt/Lyft. Hanna especially was beyond helpful and accommodating.

The view was fantastic! The room was super clean and modern! Also the buffet breakfast was absolutely amazing with everything you could want! Would definitely stay again!

The staff is utterly amazing! Everyone is wonderful, helpful and the food is terrific. If I ever go to England again I would stay without any reservation! American friendly despite it President!

The staff were super helpful and friendly and the hotel was lovely and in a great location for walking around and exploring Folkstone and the beach!

The only issue we had was that our room was on the highest floor and we had to carry our bags!

Margaret was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions on how to navigate the city and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. The morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very spacious, the couch was very comfortable and the bed was fantastic. After a full day of walking around Dover, this was a very special retreat. The views are just amazing. We will plan a trip to spend more time with Margaret.

Lovely location and good food

The host Alex is a great all around person. He greeted me and walked the property with me. In addition, he provided me with great information about the Dover Castle and how to reach it. The castle is conveniently located a 20 minute uphill walk from the house. Another great convenient item is the Train station is an easy 20 minute walk through the city center. I highly recommend the Church Hill House. Also, Alex cooks a great breakfast.

Great place for an overnight stay in Dover. Especially, if Dover is your cruise port. A great location if your intention is to spend a few days exploring Dover. Highly recommend you contact this property ahead of time should you require securing your luggage prior to checking in or after checking out. I would stay at this property again. It was very comfortable and clean. We were able to walk to a very nice restaurant and a beautiful park. The staff were very friendly and check in was easy.
