Absolutely incredible hotel. I wish I had stayed longer. I could stay here a week happily. My room was beautiful and peaceful. I felt like I was living in another time. Darshana was wonderfully helpful. 10/10 recommend.

One of the best hotels that my family and I have stayed in. We have used a lot of different hotels throughout the world and Shangri La Colombo ranks one of the best we have stayed in. Even with all the difficulties SL is in now, the hotel staff saw to our comfort without any complaints. I salute the staff and management for their gracious hospitality. Thank you!

I loved this place. It was a very nice building and the owner was very helpful. The room was spacious and the lounge area was very comfortable with international TV channels. Breakfast was made for me whenever I woke up and it was excellent local food with a lot of variety. It is away from the main road, so very quiet at night. The quality and comfort of the rooms is great. The staff is great. It is not a busy, active party hotel. It is a very comfortable quiet hotel with excellent staff and service. Amila, the manager demonstrated exceptional service as I was leaving the hotel.

Spent my birthday at Villa Shade. Mr. Shiraj, was so kind to have me checked in so early because my flight arrived in the midnight. He make sure that I am comfortable within my stay. He arranged a tuktuk to drive me around beginning and arranged ayurvedic full body massage at Jasmine Villa which is so relaxing. His staff were friendly and always smiling. A traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was prepared when I woke up which is good. Thank you for a relaxing and wonderful stay.

What a hidden gem. Hard to find but well worth it. The art is fantastic. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious!! Staff extremely accommodating.

this was a perfect boutique hotel. staff was helpful, room was very good and the restaurant had amazing food. there is only one issue that I had with the room - there were not enough sockets in the wall for a computer, phone, etc. the staff did bring an extra electrical strip but the connections were not tight enough and worked on and off. since there are only 10 rooms the staff gave a lot of personal attention

It was a wonderful experience at the property

We were there for 4 nights. The staff made it one of the most memorable stays we had anywhere in the world (we both travel a lot globally for both pleasure and business). They were warm, friendly and showed a genuine interest in making us feel welcomed. We were on vacation, but we had packed lots of things into our schedule.
