Absolutely incredible hotel. I wish I had stayed longer. I could stay here a week happily. My room was beautiful and peaceful. I felt like I was living in another time. Darshana was wonderfully helpful. 10/10 recommend.

There are multiple activities within walking distance - casino, spa, bar, pool. sea, restaurant, shopping mall, etc. The hotel is self contained and enjoyable by family members of different ages. It is affordable compared to other hotels in Colombo. It is new and well maintained. Staff speak English, friendly, and helpful.

One of the best hotels that my family and I have stayed in. We have used a lot of different hotels throughout the world and Shangri La Colombo ranks one of the best we have stayed in. Even with all the difficulties SL is in now, the hotel staff saw to our comfort without any complaints. I salute the staff and management for their gracious hospitality. Thank you!

The quality and comfort of the rooms is great. The staff is great. It is not a busy, active party hotel. It is a very comfortable quiet hotel with excellent staff and service. Amila, the manager demonstrated exceptional service as I was leaving the hotel.

Magical hotel in the best area of Sri Lanka. Unlike other high end hotels, you really feel like part of the Cinnamon community here. I had wonderful days just staying in the hotel and getting work done in the magnificent lobby while drinking coffee and eating delicious pastries . We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location is excellent. We found everything in the hotel perfect: clean, big size room, great service and amenities. Overall, a great place to stay, away from noise and there’s a french bakery a block away that has delicious coffee and croissants.

Stayed here for a few nights and mostly used it as a place to sleep. The hotel was pretty nice for the price. It had a B&B atmosphere to it. The room and the bathroom were fairly clean and comfortable. We felt very safe at this property. For shopping and dining, there's not much in the surrounding area which was the only downside. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed here for the very first time ( March 2018) for 4 nights. Very centrally located with room facing Indian Ocean, Room was cell kept with comfortable beds and nice clean bathroom. The break first buffet was excellent T with choices of both western and Srilankan cuisine. The roof top bar was a nice addition as well especially during night time for a well lighted night view of the city.
