The place was beautiful in a quiet part of town and Mark did an excellent work to welcome us. The breakfast was delicious and meticulously prepared for us, vegetarians and one, GF. Never slept that well after a long train ride and walking. Thank you, Mark!

Cute, cozy room with a nice view of the countryside. Easy parking lot out back. Had dinner while we were there, which was excellent. Would recommend and stay again.

Had not visited IOW since a child over 60 years ago so loved everything - it did not disappoint . Breakfast was delightful with Bridget. Would visit again.

We loved staying at Albert Cottage. It is a unique property with beautiful historical furnishings and design. The breakfasts are wonderful. There is a lovely sitting room where we played cards. It has a nice restaurant. It is an easy walk to the fantastic Osborne House. There were a couple of small plumbing issues due to the age of the building but they were taken care of and not significant. We stayed in many places during our trip to the UK and loved this one in particular.

We booked this hotel for a two night stay - pre cruise. We are still in awe of our stay here at The White Star Tavern Hotel. From the moment we walked through the door right through to when we left for our cruise 2 days later the staff, Bridgit, Emma, Becca, Mina, Jack, Mack, Kyle, everyone was just amazing, friendly, professional, fun, helpful....The Best!! What a beautiful place! Our welcome was delightful, the room was clean and well appointed, breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious and we just loved our 4 nights here. As I told Vickie on the way out, it was three times as good as our hotel in London, at one third the price, so that made it 9 times better :) Thank you for a wonderful visit to Isle of Wight. We would definitely stay here again and we give it a hearty recommendation.

We loved our stay at The Fig Tree. The room was very clean, updated and comfortable. It’s a great location and we really enjoyed the free breakfast. Often times a free breakfast is a buffet where food is sitting out, but we loved being able to order from a menu and it was delicious as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The beds are super comfortable and very well equipped rooms. The pub has good food too including delicious breakfast! The owner works so so hard to make it a success and it shows. Thank you!

Very charming small beachfront hotel with a beautiful patio on the water. Excellent, very reasonably-priced food on the menu and a fantastic included breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful, really made the stay a pleasure. I can really only hit them on one thing, we had three people, so used the fold-out couch as a second bed; it was a bit dusty and the mattress was a little thin; I could feel the metal frame member beneath it which was a bit uncomfortable.
