"Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the clean bathroom. Great shower with never ending hot water.The oversized mini refrigerator was great to have keep my bag of ice for 2 day as I we used it in our cooler during the day and refreshed it in the freezer when we returned. Kept food & drinks chilled. Hot coffee pot was well used for making hot coffee and tea.Room could use a few more hooks to hand clothes and towel bars. Bed was too soft. Would prefer a firmer mattress"

"Having never been to the Big Island, we could not have made a better choice of where to stay. The property is so serene and inviting. A true visual feast while feeding your soul in connecting with nature and experiencing true island life. Our host was very accommodating and willing to share their island knowledge. "We had a lovely two-night stay at the Treehouse. The view of the ocean from the lanai is extraordinary. At night we fell asleep to the soothing sounds of the rainforest and the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked, which let us cook our own breakfasts and comfortably enjoy takeout for dinners. A restful, beautiful place we'd happily recommend!A couple of helpful reminders. The property is a good 25 minute drive from Hilo on a winding, one-lane highway that can be stressful to drive in the dark...

"This is a beautiful property with a fantastic host. Corinne was so kind, welcoming and accommodating, we felt we were visiting family. We enjoyed the peaceful, laidback environment, the fruits from trees, the nature night sounds, bright stars and the sweet animals. Corinne also helped us in an emergency situation; she was an absolute sweetheart. Wish we had more time to spend there. We will be back. The Hamakua Coast lived up to its reputation."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was peaceful and a nice getaway but still close enough to Hilo. The view of the ocean every morning as the sun rises is so special. "The property is everything advertised and then some. It is beautiful and restful with the waterfall and waves surrounding you every moment. The two things to note are that only 3 bedrooms have A/C and on hot summer days it gets stifling hot, but those days are rare, we had one night like that in our week. The bunk room is not a room but a space that has a curtain that is a makeshift wall.These items should be noted in the property description so that visitors expectations are set correctly. ...
