My husband and I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Mama. We were pampered since we stepped in until we left. We definitely will stay again if we visit Quito again in the future.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying with David at Tarrassas de Dana. The hotel is only 4 small bungalows. They are simply but elegantly designed and finished. The site if nothing less than spectacular. Gorgeous! Full of flowers, verdant mountains, hummingbirds and butterflies. David was a wonderful host and so very helpful. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel served on the private porch of our bungalow. Both were excellent.

We loved the lodge and the excursions. My one complaint was with the transportation provided back to Quito. The driver was driving far too fast for road conditions and several people ended up vomiting from car sickness

Phenomenal property and staff who went the extra mile to make you feel at home and also assist with all your needs during stay. Complementary SUV ride back to airport was a special touch. Classy staff and classy hotel - will recommend to all business associates and clients.

I somehow thought this would be closer to the airport, but it was about a 30 minute drive. Nevertheless, Llalo was very clean, safe, professionally operated and the breakfast on the porch was ideal. The rates were appropriate for the lodging. I highly recommend it.

I’ve traveled all over the world, five countries in the last 12 months. I have to say that this hotel had the best customer service I’ve ever seen. I was treated like a king as a regular traveler. I never leave reviews but I want the next traveler to Quito to find this gem.

I was very impressed with both the people and the facilities. I traveled alone to a place that was completely strange to me. I never felt alone. Everyday at breakfast (very tasty) the staff made sure that my plan for the day would work. They had a sincere interest in my well being and my experience in Ecuador. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel. They made my trip wonderful.

LOVED OUR STAY HERE! Very clean, neat, & the staff was absolutely fantastic!! Food was great! Oh the saunas were so so so relaxing. The only reason I checked off the area outside of the property being unsafe is that Ecuador was under marshall law so we did not feel safe outside the hotel. BUT WE FELT TOTALLY SAFE & COMFORTABLE INSIDE!!! Did I mention how friendly the staff were!!!!! Cannot wait to came back!

What a beautiful place

The hotel is located in the historic center so walkable to all the sites. It's a lovely hotel and the rooms are large. The service is exceptional! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

What a lovely property. Very historic and the plants and wall paintings give it a welcoming touch. Excellent friendly service, especially from Daniel. Breakfast was also very decent. Very good location in historical center, but the only drawback is that the hotel is on a street that has a lot of noisy bars. Best to request the very quiet rooms in the back. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Absolutely recommend this property. The staff is amazing! We did a couple of the activities and love them. Definitely do the horse back riding tour! The food is delicious, the rooms are comfortable and where this property shines is on the little details- turn down service, with fireplace, chocolate and hot water bottles to keep the bed warm.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite... 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Excellent unit. A/C worked perfectly. The dryer actually got hot and dried our clothes. The kitchen was fully stocked with a real coffeemaker (not the horrible single pod that most hotels now use). There was a full size refrig and freezer with ice trays. I had the pleasure of staying for two nights. I had a number of medical issues as related to my diet. Every request was made with a smile.When I left I had to be at airport at 4am. No problem... They made a special breakfast to order. The whole grounds are immaculate. The main 'casa' is loaded with amazing artwork. Paintings sculptures etc. You literally can spend an hour looking thru one of their sitting areas and then look again and realize you missed a dozen objects. I can't figure out how...

Great location, stunningly beautiful; very comfortable; great shower pressure; great food; the best breakfast. High class. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Overall love the ambiance. Cozy, clean, and full of zen.
