"I decided to book a last minute holiday to Queenstown and chose to stay at Kamana Lakehouse. Super clean and helpful, bubbly staff. The only negative is the construction happening near the hotel, making too much noise in the mornings however this is out of the control of the hotel itself. Breakfast options had too many options that contained nuts."

"My friend and I had a great stay at this hotel, which is perched on a hill with stunning views of the mountains and Lake Wakatipu. The lakeside studio room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with a handy kitchenette that came in useful for late night hunger in winter. Overall, it was an excellent stay, though a more modern TV would have made the in-room entertainment even better."

"Staff were very lovely. Check-in was easy with easy bag drop both before and after check-in/check out. Lots of details that made us question the rating of the property, but also would have been totally reasonable for a 3-star property. Everything was totally fine and nothing really to write home about but we definitely questioned the 5-star rating we had seen daily. I wouldn't *not* recommend this hotel. "We came during June so site was relatively quiet. But this park is very nice. Gorgeous view from every cabin of the mountains and facilities are very nice. Kitchen area is clean, spacious, and has a nice sitting area with a TV. Location is nice and central. Cabins have good heating for when it’s cold as well."
