"We just returned from a two week stay at this hotel and it was NOT what we expected. The hotel staff was not helpful or accommodating at all! We were there for two weeks and the cook was out three days during our time there and we were only offered cold cereal and toast for breakfast; that's after paying full price for the full breakfast program they offer! "Nice hotel with walkable grounds, spacious rooms and a airy lobby with a bar and lots of seating areas. Staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet was decent but not as good as I expected for the price tag. The room did not have a refrigerator or ice, nor is there an elevator if you can't carry your luggage upstairs."

"There was no one the front desk and the only number they gave was unable to take calls! We were badly stranded after a exhausting journey. After a long wait, had no choice but to search for another hotel. The staff on duty never responded to our messages through Expedia forum. Will avoid this place for all times ahead!"

"Feels relatively run down. My sink was stopped shut and it took myself and the overnight attendant 20 minutes to figure out how to make it usable; not fun at 12 AM. The sheets were also stained which made me sleep on top of the covers. Glad I was here only 1 night, will not be returning."

"The room was dirty and badly maintained. There were deep scuff marks on the walls the shower floor was filthy as was the top of the shower. Dirt on the curtains, duvet was torn. Underneath of sink loose and falling off. I have photographs to support this . When I told reception about this they seemed unfazed and just said they would ask housekeeping about it when they came in. We had booked breakfast but decided not to risk it. "Super clean and cosy room. It was ready upon arrival and staff was very helpful in explaining the property and pub / restaurant area. Room does not have AC but had a fan and brought another upon request, as well as blackout curtains. (For those traveling from US, not many pubs and older dwellings have AC like we do in the states). We arrived when it was above 30c) We had great food during our stay and were able to enjoy long hikes in the park and super convenient spot to our friends I the area."

"The description of the property was incorrect. They only show the first and the second floor. They did not show the parking lot, which had a lot of traffic a lot of noise trucks delivering at night and kept me awake. Unfortunately, we were here for an examination at the college of law and disturb our peace of mind however, the place is very nice, but the location stinks."
