Great hotel. Very popular with families. Bed was comfortable enough. House keeping of room was thorough. Breakfast was well run. Easy stroll into the heart of Peebles town. Amazing views across the hills. Very kind staff.

The hotel was so beautiful and so friendly! We arrived very late after a lot of traveling and the staff was so available to help us get settled. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay there again!!

When we arrived near the end of time the kitchen was open, they arranged for our bags to be brought to our room and brought us directly to a table in the bar so we got to order in time. The concierge ordered a taxi for our early morning departure the next day and was very helpful. Everyone we met was nice. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Wish we stayed here longer.

We’ll maintained, the pool and saunas were fantastic! Highly recommend as it’s walkable and very convenient to all locations downtown. Tge bar was also excellent!!

Check in was smooth. No lift but successful in lugging 30+kg. suitcase up & down 3 flights of stairs. Room was impeccably clean. Room safe was difficult to access due to its position on floor of closet and tendency to entrap tiny objects in door which forced me to call for help. Batteries were dead in safe but replaced after 1 day's wait. Shower and tub excellent. Wonderful array of amenities. Hotel has stopped supplying slippers. Miss them. We had a newly remodeled room in a building a short distance from the lobby which was in a restored hall. The room was fantastic with full length floor to ceiling windows, remote controlled ceiling windows & every other amenity you can think of. We even had to open the door with an old fashioned key as the room was decorated in an old English style. Breakfast was very good & the free wi-fi worked well. This is one of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in.

Lovely room, nice staff

This is a great hotel for location and comfort. I don't sleep well in hotels but these beds and pillows were fantastic! Multiple options to choose from. I slept great. Dozens of great eating options within 3 blocks of hotel. Needed a cab at 4:30 am for our getaway and they arranged it. Great breakfast every morning too!

Excellent trip from start to finish. We arrived early, but the rooms were already ready. And we got a fantastic upgrade! The concierge helped us plan out our sightseeing for the following day, as well as made a great dinner recommendation and reservation. Drinks and food at Peacock Alley and the Caley bar were excellent. The service was wonderful - I wish I could remember all the staffs’ name who assisted us. Thanks for an excellent stay!

A real dog-friendly hotel. Great rooms overlooking the cricket ground with easy access for the dogs. Good food, very pleasant staff and in a lovely location.
