"Great hotel very impressed for the price, very well maintained and excellent amenities"

"Received an email a few days before our booking advising that the restaurant and bar were only open Monday to Saturday from 5pm to 8pm and only food was jacket potato with a variety of fillings. They did give details of 4 pubs/restaurants in the area. We decided to have a drink and give the jacket potatoes a go. There was no draught beer available just bottled beer. No soda water, was offered pellegrino instead. Jacket potato fillings were: curry sauce; cheese; baked beans; coleslaw; tuna; and something with chick peas. First choice of curry sauce turned out to be off the menu. Continental breakfast turned out to be fruit juice, tea/ coffee; a choice of 4 cereals and 1 1/2 slices of toast per person which arrived ready buttered and there was a choice of jam portions to go with it. All in all very disappointing, it felt like the place was being run down"

"Reception team seemed really friendly, we wasn’t kept waiting to be booked in and was told if we needed anything just ask, we were handed an information sheet telling us all about the hotel and past history. The room was clean and tidy there was facilities for making tea and coffee, an ironing board and iron. Unfortunately didn’t get much sleep as the bed was very hard. Had a meal in the bar, disappointed on the pizza, very flat and floppy with not much taste, lots of grease left on the plate. Lots of choice on breakfast but found the hot food a bit bland."

"The hotel is at the motorway service station but it is surprisingly quiet for the location. The hotel is a little dated but the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Staying for one night on the way to the Malvern Show it worked perfectly for us."

"Swimming pool and spa very relaxing. Garden restaurant pleasant, food average. Breakfast wasn’t explained so we didn’t realise you could order eggs. Bacon was rubbery. Melon all gone by 9am. Pastries could have been fresher. Good tea tray in room. Room was larger than expected. "
