"We stayed at the Solo Experience Hotel for just one night as a last-minute decision to be closer to the train station before heading to Cinque Terre. It turned out to be one of the best choices of our entire trip. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely kind, helpful, and accommodating. Their hospitality was the best we’ve experienced so far in Italy. The biggest surprise was the size of the room. It was easily two to three times larger than any other hotel room we’ve stayed in on this trip. It was extremely clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and offered a lovely view. It was the kind of place you actually didn’t want to leave. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Florence with easy access to shops, restaurants, and major sights. We always appreciate walkability and this hotel delivered. Despite being in such a central area, the inside of the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence."

"Hotel Accademia in Florence was a very nice hotel in the heart of the city . . . very close to the Duomo, and to the Santa Maria Novella train station. Our room was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly and attentive. A very nice breakfast spread was provided each morning. The location was great for just walking around Florence and was convenient to return to for a mid-day rest. Be aware that some rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are no lifts (and a substantial number of stairs!), but this was not a problem for us at all. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return . . . highly recommended!"
