"Very good stay"

"Friendly staff. I think the only con is that you have to take the lift to the first floor to access the showers. The narrow street right outside the hostel is very quiet at night. "

"Like the cafe/bar in the basement. The 2 buildings across the street from each other makes it a bit inconvenient, for instance, to get to the kitchen from hostel room if they are located in different buildings. Otherwise, clean, nice, comfortable."

"Very well organized, everyone was friendly, loved the no shoes policy and provided slippers!, the communal living room space with tables and couches to relax on, the large kitchen and refrigerator to access, and the rooms/beds were great too. Very easy to find, close to metro and bus routes, near the river too which is so pretty! Would stay again!"

"This hostel beats any hotel/ hostel I’ve stayed it. It is well worth the value. Lockers are spacious, staff is friendly and hard working, the amenities like breakfast, towels, slippers and laundry are a great touch. beds are spacious and comfy and I like that there was a designated smoking area on the premises. The only thing is the internet is a bit wonky but overall amazing stay! "

"The best capsule hotel I've stayed at.Cozy and private, nice staff, comfortable temperature and good showers. Easy luggage storage before and after stay. Excellent location for being nearby a lot of food and fun, but off a small street so it is not loud and is very peaceful. I would stay here again and recommend highly. "I was so pleased with Hostel Mundo! It has the style of a traditional Japanese home, with all the comforts that come along with that. That means snug rooms with sleeping cushions on tatami mat floors, a warm home-like environment in the common quarters, and a welcoming staff that is knowledgeable about the surrounding area of Kyoto. "An aparthotel well equipped with fridge, microwave etc, very convenient for preparation of food bought from the 7-11 next door. Local temple across the road from the hotel is a great place to visit. Bathroom amenities very good and modern, typical small Japanese bath. Washing machine also available. Overall a decent standard for the price, thoroughly recommend."
