"Good place overall, onsen was a plus, although it doesn't seem to be a traditional "ryokan"."

"The staff were friendly and the location was convenient. The hotel however was very dated and the rooms were basic. Onsen was clean and there was free tea and coffee. If you want a quick easy stop then it’s not too bad but like I said. Basic"

"Perfect place to enjoy Japanese Onsen and Foods Great staffs!!!"

"Great place to stay"

"Clean room, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast"

"We had a great stay at this riyokan! Very spacious and the whole place flowed really nicely. Breakfast is delivered at 8:30-9am in the mornings. Easy walk to anything if you enjoy walking and checking out the neighborhoods. Would recommend!"

"BLACK MOLD, don’t book. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this is a real health concern. The woman asked to “clean” it and offered another took but the while building smelled like mold. You can’t simply clean mold. You need to have it professionally removed. I understand Japan is humid and the bathroom is wet but other hotels offer a dehumidifier. We decided not to stay and we could not get a refund. Truly sucks since we couldn’t see the place until we checked in."
