"The house is beautiful and wonderfully appointed - even better than the pictures would have you believe. Location is fantastic - minutes from downtown Aveiro, two big supermarkets and the beaches, but still in a residential neighborhood. Our host Adelaide was so friendly and helpful and made the stay that much better. 10/10 - would definitely recommend."

It’s easy to get downtown by bus,tram or Uber. The owner and management company were quick to respond to any questions that we had. "Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"This is a very well equipped villa in a lovely location overlooking the lagoon. The village of Torreira a few minutes away is a gem. A pretty little town with old buildings lining the pedestrianised main street at one end and a harbour with brightly painted traditional fishing boats at the other end. The villa has a good heated pool and two comfortable lounges, one of which overlooks the lagoon. The garden is secluded and a nice place to relax. The nearby road is only really noisy on Sundays...

"We loved our time spent at Carmo’s home in Aveiro. She was very thoughtful, and left some local treats and beautiful sunflowers for our enjoyment. Our infant also slept very well in the provided crib, which is quite a feat! The house is just a quick walk to the city center, and we were also able to enjoy Costa Nova and Coimbra while there as well! Carmo was responsive to our questions, and was so gracious and accommodating. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us!"

"What an amazing stay! Our party of 9 had a wonderful time at the Stone House - and didn't want to leave. Our only regret was not visiting when the pool was open in summer - so we'll have to go back! The host and housekeeper were so accommodating, friendly, and gracious. The house was immaculately clean, and so very beautiful. Being only 25 minutes from Porto, 30 minutes from the beach and an hour from wineries, we thoroughly enjoyed the location as well. I highly recommend a stay at this...

"We absolutely loved our stay. Eugenia was there to meet us when we arrived and walked us through the property. It was incredibly beautiful, well-done, spacious and accommodating. The house had more than we needed- more towels, more pillows, more everything- which was very appreciated. The staff was very accomodating to my plant-based breakfast request and made sure I had enough food. Our room safe battery died right before our check out and the staff resved the issue in a very professional and fast manner. The area is great too. Would stay here again. "
