If you're staying, I'd advise bringing some consumables as shops are far away. It would have been nice to have more cleaning...

"You are 30 mins from everything in Porto and only an hour from Douro Valley vineyards. I really liked the vibe of this country setting, with the small town of Melres nearby for groceries and cafes. We enjoyed lazy days by the pool and would definitely come back to explore the area more."
