Very unique gorgeous building with a wonderful staff invested in its history. Luisa was so helpful with travel logistics, restaurant recommendations and things to see and do in Haarlem. Bed was super comfortable, breakfast delightful, bathroom luxurious, location perfect. We loved it!

An absolutely perfect place for a stay in the Amsterdam area, just a few minutes walk to the train station (15-20min ride to Ams Centraal). excellent hotel, lovely staff & comfortable beds! i’ve stayed here twice and had a great stay. whenever im in the netherlands for work i stay here.

Despite being right near the train station (really, a 30 second walk), this area is safe, attractive and not at all seedy. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the center, depending on where you are going. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room was super clean.

Great hotel; it may be old but it wears its age well. (Old in this case doesn't mean dirty or frayed at the edges). Quiet room, very soft comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant, especially dinner was very good with very good steaks available; breakfast was adequate as a little more variety would be nice. Very friendly and attentive staff in the hotel, always a sincerely warm greeting when I passed by the front desk.

The staff were amazing! Very helpful, friendly and kind. The room was very clean. Breakfast was a traditional Dutch breakfast. My only suggestion would be for a hair dryer to be in the room. It was a hassle to always go ask to use one.

Everything was perfect. Property is beautiful and staffs are kind. I enjoyed fitness and sauna too. The only drawback is checkout time at 11am is a bit too early. Hope it is 12pm.

taking a cab from Centraal station, the cab driver could not find the hotel, when it was really in front of his nose. Once I got there, the experience was great. I was concerned about the distance from the center of the city, but there's a tram that stops right in front of the hotel that takes you right to the center of things. BEST HOTEL IN AMSTRDAM

I will only stay at this hotel in Amsterdam. The location is ideal - quieter street but walkable to everything. The amenities are everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The staff is out of this world - energetic, professional and helpful.

I booked the room to get some rest during a 13-hour layover and although this property was a bit further from the airport than I originally thought, the hotel was clean and staff friendly. The next morning I found the hotel was within walking distance of the commuter train that took me right to the airport and I made my flight home without issue.

All the rooms are different which makes them interesting. Comfortables beds, though pillows could be softer. Free bottle of champagne in suite was nice surprise. Loved the tea and pressed coffee set up in room for mornings or chilly afternoons. A steamer in the closet is better than ironing board. Good service

Hotel Estherea is a beautiful place, with a fabulous location, great staff, clean, breakfast is great and the cookies,flavored waters and coffee machine are over the top. There are fresh flowers, gorgeous chandeliers and very comfortable sitting areas. It was a real treat and I would go back in a minute.
