Lovely inn in a quiet corner. Very nice staff and a hearty breakfast.

Lovely staff. Great restaurant. Not fancy but clean and cheery.

An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you

Wonderful and characterful property

The room was beautiful, beyond my expectations. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Joan. The food was amazing. It was a really nice stay!

Everything highly met my expectations.

This is an old coaching inn in a small country town with independent shopping along the high street , which is where the hotel is located . Parking is at the rear of the hotel easily accessed from the high street . Our room ( the Broadway Suite ) was a good size with a stand alone bath tub and separate shower and was well heated . Breakfast was good with a nice choice and we had dinner there on two of our three nights , which speaks well to the quality of the food . Last but by no means least...

The room was very nice, Food in the pub was good. Excellent service.

We had a great time staying here, even though it was only for one night. The staff was very accommodating and while we missed breakfast, they were able to leave us bags of food to take on our early morning car journey the next day. The dinner at the restaurant downstairs was also wonderful. Only complaint was at the shower. Could’ve been a little warmer!

A very nice stay. Though the rooms are above a pub, it was a quiet sleep. No on-site parking, but right across the street there is a municipal parking garage which wasn't too expensive. The Cathedral is a very short walk. The inn provided a nice continental breakfast. The pub scene was quite nice...the locals were friendly and welcomed this American.

Excellent hotel with great food, a great bar and a wonderful, friendly staff. Updated rooms with modern decor and amenities. Great location for seeing the Cotswolds.

Although in an older building, it is obvious the owners have made an effort to keep the rooms updated. Well decorated and appointed large room with large en suite. bath. Friendly service at check-in and at breakfast.

The property is old and has character. It sits at a lovely location close to the village's attractions.

A delightful quiet country inn convenient to Stratford and Shipston. Very obliging staff and nice food.

Comfortable, clean and the incredible view from the Malvern Hills across the Severn Valley.
