"We were not there long enough to rate how safe and quiet area is tho our room was safe and quiet. It was a fairly small room with tiny cupboard closet, tiny fridge, a few small shelves for clothes & not much bathroom space for items tho we had an accessible bathroom not sure why. These things are typical tho for a manhattan hotel. We had a king size bed & there was room to move in room unlike some in nyc. It was very nice and convenient and comfortable. Microwave, keurig included. Best to use Uber or walk. We were very pleased with stay and hotel staff extremely helpful and courteous. Would stay again absolutely. Great location in Times Square/ garment district. Felt safety measures were good for elevators/need room key. "

"This is probably the second hotel review I’ve ever written, but my recent stay at the New Yorker absolutely warrants it. Two things, in particular, stood out. First, the amazing staff. Besides the hotel’s prime location, the staff make you feel truly welcome. For example, the doorman remembered the name of my service dog. They consistently go out of their way to provide exceptional service with a personal touch. Second, the upgrades. Unlike other hotels that claim to upgrade my room but make no noticeable changes, the New Yorker genuinely impressed me. Without any request, they upgraded my room significantly due to my extended stay. The upgraded unit had three rooms, a terrace, a walk-in closet, two bathrooms, and a stunning view of Midtown. They got it right, and I’ll be booking with them more often."

"Room was nice for NYC(small). Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great. Fresh fruit. Eggs. Meat. Oatmeal. Yogurt. Juice. Would stay again. Location was awesome. Salvation Army is across the street and is no problem at all. "

"Great location just a couple blocks from Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, and Hudson Yards. Excellent view from the 23rd floor. Room was nice, beds were comfortable, shower was amazing! Looking forward to a return visit!"
