"Loved every bit of this beautiful art deco hotel. Have stayed here twice and it does not disappoint but we were very fortunate to have superb suites on the highest level. The views from this hotel are just incredible and the location is perfect and so close to so many shops and the Empire State Building. The hotel does need some TLC but it all adds to the charm. Gorgeous hotel. "

"Staying in New York is always exciting.Staying at this particular Holiday Inn Express was exceptional. Michelle,Samantha, Devon, Touria & Oscar were incredible. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel where the staff actually texted me to make sure I had everything I needed. I GENUINELY felt cared for.From extra blankets & bottled water to directions & printing out my plane tickets, the hospitality was absolutely FABULOUS! The service at this place was superior. Breakfast was terrific. Everyday I was taking in all that New York had to offer and when I got back to our place, whomever was at the front desk sincerely was just as enthusiastic about my adventures. Every evening I came back to a room that was impeccably clean. The hotel is maintained well. Everyone was kind, courteous, patient and willing to offer assistance. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express on 39th and I look forward to staying there again."

"Stayed here years ago and happy I chose it again (after a first night at a "zero stars" competitor.) Close to all the theater performances I was attending and subways I needed. Love a room with fridge and microwave,though "kitchenette" is mis-leading. You need to bring your own plates, cups, utensils if you plan to eat in your room. Large room, luggage storage helpful for early arrivals, late departures. "

"We stayed for two nights. The room was nice, the beds very comfortable. Service was great. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Little things: the little room refrigerator was totally taken up by the pay minibar, making it difficult to keep our water cold, etc. and we needed to seek the assistance of the staff twice because the television streaming app did not work for us as designed. Regardless, it was a very pleasant place to stay, and would recommend it."
