"An excellent hotel in a great location. The area immediately surrounding the property is very pleasant and is conveniently located with all Bergen attractions being within easy walking distance. "Well located hotel with friendly staff and good dining options. The room was a good size but suffered from poor ventilation and no air conditioning. The bathroom fan did not work. So overall the room was hot, stuffy and uncomfortable. It was more refreshing in the corridor. The window opened slightly but the street was noisy until late a night. "

"Stayed here one night prior going to the Fjords. Room is tidy and clean, staffs are generally helpful and nice. Had dinner at the restaurant, food are all good and staffs are again very nice. Have a covered carpark underneath the hotel with charging facilities."

"The breakfast buffet here was fabulous. I also enjoyed the large soaking tub in my room. The location was perfect. It was a bit noisy at night because there was a club across the street, but I had good earplugs. There were many tripping hazards in the hallways and in the room, so would not recommend for the elderly, but it is a historic building. I’d stay here again. "
