The Royal Sonesta Kaua'i Resort Lihue

"Beautiful resort with stunning views. The rooms have been renovated but keep in mind the building itself is pretty old, which might be why it’s on the less expensive side of other resorts in Kauai. Regardless, the staff did a great job at cleaning our rooms and helping us anytime we needed something. I even forgot my camera charger in my room after check out and they went and got it from the next guests for me. Overall, had a great experience staying here!"

"The property was in an awesome location. Right next to the beach, with a restaurant overlooking the beautiful landscape/beach. Upon check-in the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and it was all we needed to make our stay comfortable. No regrets booking this location. Will heavily consider staying here when we return next year. Aloha!"

"The staff was amazing, view was amazing, location was amazing. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Was bummed the washing machine amenities weren’t available and wish the room was better cleaned but overall the stay was great."

"The most amazing hotel stay! Wish it had been longer! The hotel is conveniently located, super clean inside and out, and has the most friendly thoughtful staff. Do not miss the history presentation in the morning with Ron - highlight of our trip and left us with a deep and abiding appreciation for the beauty and people of Kaua’i."
