"Dear Expedia Customer Support,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with a recent booking made through your platform. While we were looking forward to a relaxing stay, our experience at the resort fell significantly short of expectations due to multiple issues that were not disclosed at the time of booking.
Most notably, the property was undergoing active construction, which was not mentioned anywhere in the listing. The main lobby was completely closed off, resulting in extremely inconvenient access to our room. We were required to navigate through multiple hallways and elevators just to reach our accommodations, as well as to access the pool and other amenities. As I am currently pregnant, these extended and indirect walking routes created additional physical strain and discomfort, further impacting our stay.
Additionally, there was a visible leak in the makeshift lobby area, with numerous buckets placed in front of the only available elevators. This not only impacted accessibility but also raised safety and cleanliness concerns.
Our room itself had several issues that further diminished our experience:
- An ant infestation
- Noticeable buildup or rust-like growth on all lamps
- A missing screen door on the sliding door, limiting our ability to enjoy fresh air comfortably
These conditions do not align with the standards that were advertised at the time of booking, nor with what we expect when booking through Expedia."
