"Lovely hostel that has only been running for a couple of months. Everyone from the staff was super sweet, welcoming and very helpful (even helped us booking a very cheap nightbus to Tokyo online). The female dorm os very cosy and the beds are sooo comfortable. The whole hostel is very stylish and the design makes you feel like home. "We were only in Kyoto for two nights, but found the Brighton to be centrally located to the areas we wanted to explore. Cabs were always available for hire at the from entrance. Rooms were large and clean, with amenities such as pajamas and toiletries included. Large soaking tub made for a relaxing end to a long day of walking. Mineral salts for bath were provided, which were a nice touch. You cant beat the price for this level of luxury. We did not take advantage of any of the restaurants in the hotel, but they do have a breakfast buffet available for a cost. Overall, would definitely return to this property."
