Castles in La Altagracia

We chose this hotel because we wanted access to water activities. It turned out to be a great decision. We tried snorkeling and sailing and saw many other activities available nearby. Breakfast was included, and the pool was perfect after a busy morning. The kitchen in the room was convenient. We had a fun and active vacation.

Very nice authentic Dominican style bed and breakfast. Very private and quiet location. Breakfast options are simple but very nice and filling. You can get Hot food like a breakfast sandwich or fresh eggs your way with or without Ham and Cheese or if you prefer cereal or just plain toast are also available. Rooms are air conditioned, WiFi is free and consistent. The common spaces are well maintained and cleaned everyday. The building is also very secure with 24/7 surveillance. I’d recommend...

Raul the butler was amazing. He helped me book restaurants, spa appointments, ride to the airport, and was very responsive and very kind. The food was great. My favorite restaurant was the Argentinian steakhouse. FYI if you book through Expedia, the sales team will give you a 2-3 hour presentation about the resort’s membership.

This hotel is beautiful and excellent. The staff was awesome and sweet. I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast was and hotel restaurant is amazing! Also safe for solo travel.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. The room was clean and the hotel was very well maintained. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and was served right on time. Overall this hotel was excellent.

Overall my experience was great. I did not like that my room was filled with bugs & dirty. My air also did not work and they worked on my room for hours and they couldn't give me a different room. They did fix the problems.

Our butler, Rodny, was amazing. He made our stay a breeze and took great care of us! The staff is really what makes this place great, they put in the extra effort to make sure we had a wonderful time!

The resort is a 10/10 overall. The breakfast and lunch buffet are a 5/10 to me because the food was NOT hot unless you got a fresh omelet or fresh pasta station. However all of the dinner restaurants are amazing! The Mexican and Italian restaurants were my favorite!!!

We found that breakfast hours were generous, which was great because we didn't always want to wake up early on vacation. We appreciated being able to have breakfast closer to 10 in the morning.

I think they shouldn’t charge you for breakfast

Majestic Colonial is a beautiful place but for being Puerto Rican I was looking for some good Dominican food and did not find it. We had to go out outside for it.

The property was fantastic! The staff was hands down the friendliest and so happy to help with anything. Our favorite bartender is Edwin, at the swim up bar...his fellow bartenders at the swim up bar were the kindest people. But Edwin was absolutely our family favorite, he was always smiling and so wonderful. We also loved picasso (aka Pablo Picasso) he was so genuine and kind!
