"The building itself is amazing. There seemed to be a recent takeover so there were a number of staff who were not well trained. The house keeping was an issue every single day of our stay. Our keys deactivated twice in our 4 day stay. The restaurant was probably the worst of the experience. We ordered lunch with only one other table in the entire restaurant. Thirty plus minutes later no food. The main bar was the best of the experience. Friendly staff and served delicious cocktails. Also, my room had a gorgeous view and a fun vibe. Hoping that once the takeover has had some time, these issues will be ironed out. This hotel has great potential."

"This is an Historic Gem in Milwaukee. It is steps from Lake Michigan and while in an older neighborhood, close to many of the sites that Milwaukee has to offer. The rooms are ideal for extended stays. Even the standard rooms have equipped kitchenettes with stove, refrigerator, sink and microwave. Larger rooms and suites have full kitchens.The rooms are large and have a lot of closet space. The staff is very friendly and pleasant to interact with. Another plus is that there is a restaurant and bar attached. While we didn't visit this trip we have in previous stays and found the food good and reasonably priced. It is our Milwaukee go to and I think it is a property worth checking out. "

"Very helpful staff and kind people. They were so friendly and easy to talk to. They welcomed us very nicely. I personally felt the room needed more care because it wasn’t clean that much. The hotel is so nice and close to everything. The lobby is vintage and peaceful. The pool has an incredible view."

"Stayed 1 night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was offered as valet— no issues. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom does require attention in the shower area— areas of mold visible. We enjoyed the attached brewery- restaurant. Great beer, food, and cocktails. "

"Room was clean but you can get a sense of how the vibes in the area were once u got to the parking lot, people smoking and drinking outside of the hotel, once I got inside I had problems with getting to my room because they had messed up the names, then once I got the keys to my room there were people drinking in the hallways of the hotel. Room was clean but the service was horrible we asked 3 times to get new towel or even get the beds maid but the never did."
