Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

"The Flamingo Las Vegas has an excellent central location on the Strip. We could easily walk north or south to many major hotels, casinos, restaurants and attractions without constantly needing taxis or Uber. The property is older, and this shows in some areas, but we found it comfortable and functional. Our renovated, non-smoking King Strip View room was pleasant and had a great view. Housekeeping was inconsistent. At check-in, we requested daily cleaning, but our room was serviced automatically only after the first night. We later had to call to request service. This wasn’t a major problem, but daily housekeeping should be provided consistently when requested. The reception and casino areas had a noticeable cigarette smell, although this was common in many older casinos we visited. Our non-smoking room did not smell of smoke. The GO Pool has live DJs and a lively party atmosphere. It gets extremely busy on weekends, so finding a chair can be difficult without reserving a lounger, daybed or cabana. Drinks are also exceptionally expensive. For two drinks it cost us $91 USD! Overall, I would stay at the Flamingo again. It isn’t luxurious or ultra-modern, but its excellent location, renovated room, fun pool and reasonable price outweighed its shortcomings. It offers very good value for travellers wanting a comfortable and lively hotel in the heart of the Strip."

"Excellent customer service! We, family, come from California often (I would say quarterly, if not more) and I was really impressed with our stay at the Harrah’s. The accommodations are very clean and staff very friendly! Very impressive! So grateful we had great family time!"
