"Everything was fine but not great. Building is hot and room needed a bit of maintenance. Staff were friendly but not very welcoming or helpful. Quiet location and good price."

"Whilst my room was small, it had all I needed. The highlight was the staff: reception and bar/restaurant staff were excellent. Polite, attentive, efficient. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice. The restaurant menu for dinner was ok but sometimes a wider simpler choice would have been nice."

"If you really like old style hotel, this is ok. My main complain is bed being too soft and no air condition. The location is ok, but still a bit far away from town center. The breakfast is good. TV is too small."

"We stayed only 1 overnight on the way down from scotland. We could see lot of people staying for visiting the lakes. The hotel is in a very nice location. They are also pet friendly and they provided us a towel and a bowl for the dog. We highly recommend both breakfast and set menù dinner which was very nice. Room was clean and bathroom looked recently renewed."
