Only problem was there 2 events on which were rather loud and you could keep everything from our room. They did finish at midnight! I wouldn’t have normally bothered me but I was there Saturday night and needed to be be up early Sunday morning to work at a local wedding fair. "

"A beautiful, old hotel with beautiful architecture and wonky stairs. The staff were excellent. The rooms were well equipped, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, modern and spacious. It is in the centre of the town. Parking is available a little way away but thete is a paying carpark on the doorstep. Dinner was superb, breakfast was delicious."

"Room absolutely perfect, very clean - super location. Continental breakfast provided as self service but no indication as to where it was. Luckily I found someone who was able to show me as it was in another part of the building with no signage, otherwise I wouldn’t have found it. Limited reception facilities, no one there when I left so unsure how to pay, in the end I left cash with a lady who assisted with the Abbey. Would definitely stay again, but I bit more direction/guidance would have been really helpful."
