"Staff were lovely, room was small but nice and fit for the price. Only issue was the water fountain provided in reception for bottles had very hot water. Other than that, fab and would stay again"

"Really good stay in a great location. Really annoyed at having a service charge on drinks at the bar! On Food ok but not on a pint of beer. I’ve never had that at any hotel anywhere. It’s not cheap drinks anyway."

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle

"Upon arrival to the hotel the reception and lobby area was modern and well presented, giving a great first impression of the hotel. We were greeted at reception by a lovely staff member who offered to check us in early which was a lovely bonus. The room was clean and comfortable but was very dated, however this was expected as we researched the hotel before arrival the shower and bathroom were also very dated and the shower didn’t have the best pressure. The room would benefit from a fridge but due to this being an older hotel we understand why this might not be possible. While our stay was enjoyable overall we felt that some interactions with staff could have been more friendlier a warmer and more welcoming approach would have been better. Despite these points we would consider staying again."

"Upon arrival we were greeted and helped with checkin, no long queues, likewise checking out at the end of our stay. Staff were friendly, there was always someone with a hello and a smile in reception day and night. The room was small and clean the bed was comfortable, we only used it as a base for 2 days so ideal for our stay. Great location for visiting central London, the west end and experiencing Londons vibrant atmosphere. The hotel was good value for money being in the heart of the west end. Only fault we found was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which for us was a slight inconvenience but wouldn’t put us off staying there again."

"The property was really nice. Staff amazing. My only critique is floors can be updated. A little outdated. I was on club floor 11. When my flight got cancelled I booked an extra night on a regular floor 4 which was nicer than the club floor. Loved daily breakfast included in club stay"

"We were visiting London and this hotel was the perfect location to walk or take the Tube to see the sites and go everywhere we needed to go. The staff was friendly and offered recommendations to us. The hotel offered multiple dining outlets from a quick breakfast to a fun bar/restaurant. We were there during the World Cup and they had a great watching parties. Highly recommend!"

Radisson Blu Hotel, London South Kensington

8/10 Good

"Good location. Helpful staff. Building is old and smells of mold in some areas. Room is smaller than "normal " Radissson, very small bathtub. However it has everything you need incl a fridge. The double bed was large and comfortable, huge duvet, 4 rather comfortable pillows. Nice touch: free refreshments in the lobby area."

"The rooms were clean, staff were helpful. Overall great experience except the long walk to and from the room to the reception area which is the only exit to the building for guest."
