"Great location for everything I had to do in the area. Hit the rooftop for drinks, then the art walk. Quite a bit within walking distance. Love the high ceilings, and seems to be one of if not the tallest building around."
The Stanley Hotel

"We well respect that The Stanley is an historic landmark in a stunning location; spectacular views. It has beautiful gardens, a maze and guided tours. It clearly falls into the category of historic hotels. The hotel participates in the several Estes Park shuttles to downtown and trailheads. Very convenient) My issues are the extensive construction taking place that was noisy, dirty and which compromised beautiful views. (Not on the weekend) We changed our room since we did not want to look out at a construction site. (The staff was very accommodating.) The new room had a very comfortable bed and lots of hot water. Furniture was vintage (as expected)and lighting was rather dim. Parking for hotel guests was very difficult due to the many visitors taking tours of the hotel. The elevator did not work in the Lodge (where we stayed). The housekeeping staff comes every three days yet did not empty the trash nor replenish the coffee Nespressos. The food at The Cascades was disappointing. I am mentioning these issues to inform future guests so that they can come prepared."

"It was a great stay! Only two negative things about it was the pool was cold (no wonder no one was swimming in it during our stay and it was supposed to be heated pool) and the parking, we had to pay for it during our stay."

"The people at the hotel were very helpful starting with the valet service as soon as we arrived. The front desk was terrific, friendly and quickly checked our family in. They also provided information about the amenities at the hotel and local shopping and dinning options. I recommend the historic rooms."

"The hotel was modern and the room size was large. The room was very dusty when we arrived and it felt like the room was quickly turned over from the night before. Parking was convenient and the shower was fantastic!"
