"Booked here last minute as a treat & recuperate from a post operation, we didn’t get to use the spa for that very reason. The grounds are lovely and well kept and the views go on for miles. All staff were lovely and friendly and always busy. Check in/checkout was straight forward all details given. Room was lovely and clean and all was full filled in what was needed. Lots to choose from at the bar, we did book in to the restaurant for tea but cancelled as it was quite limited and expensive so went to the Vicarage 5 mins down the road (lovely place)! Breakfast was in with our room and this was faultless so much to choose from from continental to a full cooked breakfast lots to choose from in drinks also. The iced peach tea is a favourite 😊 staff were on hand if needed and they were also busy clearing tables as they became free. Will return when we get chance and the spa will definitely be on our list. "

"Beautiful hotel and setting, food is a little on the pricy side. I recommend you book breakfast £12.00 or you pay £17.50 in the morning which I felt was a bit steep not good practice. "

"Lovely staff, Breakfast a bit overwhelmed on the Staurday morning, paid £18.00 for a continental Breakfast and there was hardly anything left on the tables, no bread, hardly any cold cuts. Could only have some Granola!!!. For £16.00 at the lounge bar a cafetier with coffee and two breakfast baps with egg sausages and bacon. More value for money than £24.00 for a cooked breakfast or £18.00 for a continental. All this was offset by the great service and lovely staff."
