This hotel was a perfect find. We wanted to stay near, but not in, Southampton for a cruise the next day. and we happened upon this gem. It is in the heart of a very quaint, clean little village, perfect for relaxing after flying over from the US. The staff was exceptional

Recently renovated, every aspect of the property and design choices are exceptional. The dinner menu creations were inventive and delicious. However, our room No. 36 was without WiFi. (“Hotel WiFi not connected to internet.”) And you cannot adjust the room temperature using the thermostat. A+ regardless.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Chilworth Manor while visiting Stonehenge, Avebury Stones, and Salisbury Cathedral. The property was once a manor and has evolved into a comfortable, well-maintained hotel, with substantial grounds and walking trails. The trails could use better upkeep. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel; the food and service were perfectly fine. Our only real drawback was that our third-floor room was accessible only by stairs, with no lift. Great place, room was big, staff nice. Feel like in America.

The hotel is well managed and maintained. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were great. Room was also excellent. The surrounding area currently has construction work, but that will no doubt end soon. There are limited dining options in the area and no shopping options. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Flawless stay. Excellent service, clean, bright, and efficient rooms, and a lovely location. Would stay here anytime.

Everyone there was so nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great breakfast & air conditioning!!

Great stay

Property managed to get it just right! Super historical and atmospheric yet still very comfortable. The bed was cozy and the rooms quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again. Breakfast was made to order and excellent! Parking was tight yet present and free. Hotel was 3 blocks from city center and 2 blocks from cathedral. Perfect placement. Do yourself a favor and choose to stay here!!

We booked this hotel for a two night stay - pre cruise. We are still in awe of our stay here at The White Star Tavern Hotel. From the moment we walked through the door right through to when we left for our cruise 2 days later the staff, Bridgit, Emma, Becca, Mina, Jack, Mack, Kyle, everyone was just amazing, friendly, professional, fun, helpful....The Best!! The Pub restaurant is just amazing. Best hot breakfast menu along with superb food for dinner & lunch. Bartenders, Jack & Mack make the...
