"The setting is absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Hansard Suite and this was a great size, the sofa is super comfy and the 4 poster bed is very comfortable. The restaurant food was outstanding and we cannot give enough praise to Ashley the restaurant manager and the young man on front of house reception who made our experience so exquisite. "

"Lovely hotel. When arriving the staff were friendly and helpful as we were there hours before check in. The rooms are basic with toiletries but very clean . Alcohol was reasonability priced as we expected higher prices due to it being a wedding venue. For the price with breakfast and free parking it was spot on. We was able to leave the car and get a uber into York which was between £15-£20. Would definitely stay again. "

"Great hotel with fantastic food and staff. Rooms was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Time between ordering food and it being served was a slight issue at breakfast (30 minutes seemed excessive for beans and poached eggs) but was just about worth the wait. Only one car charging station working wasn’t ideal either but will definitely be back. "

The rooms are lovely and the breakfast options were just right for us. Will definitely stay again. The price was also the best value for money you could ask for. Could not recommend more."
