Best hotel I have stayed at for some time. Very modern and clean. Good gym with access to University gym across the road (huge). Nice restaurant and bar. This hotel is on campus with good parking and access. Very pleasant to walk around - a university campus.

I didn't realize the host would send an email to fill out. When you return this, you are then sent the code for the front door and your room. This was my fault. Thank goodness an employee spotted me because she was able to call the host and I was able to get in.
I can't say enough good things about my room. VERY clean, everything looked brand new, big screen tv, beautiful decorating. It is in a historical part of the city and was across the street from a church built in the 1400s. I would...

The rooms are spacious and very clean. For a contactless stay, the owner was very communicative (the check-in video is very helpful) and he responded quickly. We arrived late, after an 8 hour drive, and then left early, so I can’t speak to anything beyond that it was a pleasant place to spend the night and the owner is great.

A diamond in the rough, quiet village with a hidden gem. Great staff with accessible dining and pub. Would recommend to anyone who wants an out of the way stay.

Off the beaten path but convenient to castle, pubs and restaurants. Get code from front desk for significant savings on nearby parking.
Note: although parking is “nearby”, one-way roads don’t make it an easy drive. Not bad. Just not as easy as it may look on a map.
Also, get card from front desk for significant savings at Pitcher and Piano restaurant a few minutes walk. Great restaurant.

The owner is warm, welcoming and delightful to talk with. She really made our stay. The rooms are fun - each with its own theme. Our room was comfortable and quiet, even though it faced the main road. The location is great - easy to walk or take a bus to all places of interest.
