"This is a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. So,
PRO: Súper friendly staff, big kitchen you can use, right in front of the beach, in the middle of nowhere. No people around. Perfect for a getaway with no cellphones.
CONS: Not the cleanest place, they don’t clean the rooms during your stay, staff only works during mornings so if you need something during the day it’s kinda difficult. The beach is full of garbage and full of sargazo which even if it’s not their fault they could clean the beach in front of the...

"Servicio corresponde a precio. Lo especial de esta propiedad es que tienen club de playa a poca distancia del hotel. Necesitas ir en auto a 2km aprox. No te cobran entrada, ni palapa y te dejan hacer uso de cayaks o amenidades. 100 % recomendable."

"Not many choices in Xcalak but Antonia and Maria made us feel at home. Breakfast is included in the price and very good and affordable dinners each night on the upper deck were so special after a full day of scuba diving. It was perfect for us."

"Excelentes vacaciones en Bacalar, Casita Maya es una extensión de tu casa tienes una habitación cómoda, limpia sin ruidos, con agua caliente, baño amplio, cocineta, la cana muy comoda con vista a la laguna, que es maravillosa, el personal es sumamente amable, atento y te oresta ayuda en lo que necesites, fue una agradable experiencia habernos hospedado en la Casira Maya. Ampliamente recomendable "

"Es lo peor que existe en Bacalar. La administradora quien ni siquiera dio la cara nos canceló la reservación sin previo aviso. Aunado a ello el hotel está alejado de la ciudad en un camino de terraceria."
