"Not enough handicap parking - and parking lots stayed full forcing us to park quite a distance from our handicap access room. Room was also showing some wear, not bad but just below what I expect of a Hyatt."

"The best part of this property is their manager who is a sweetheart and so kind. The hotel is quaint and comfortable and extremely clean. Not all rooms are the same but even through we didn’t have one of their better ones, it was a comfortable stay. We liked the continental breakfast and easy parking. Keep in mind that this area is pretty quiet and there is nothing to eat without driving 4-5 miles after 9pm. "

"We stayed at the "Whitecaps North" building. Beautiful dunes and beach easily walkable from the rooms. No TVs in the rooms and wifi turned off at night. It's a great place to retreat for peace and quiet without screen time. Check out the social hall for activities like playing pool and reading a kindle next to the fireplace. "

"Stargazer Inn was the perfect spot for us to enjoy the Monterey area and Big Sur. Really comfortable beds, clean rooms and thoughtful touches throughout. Would highly recommend to others looking for a spot to stay in Monterey!"
