"I love the cozy charming feel of this Historic Landmark Hotel. Staff was friendly and kind. I felt comfortable and secure as a Solo Traveler. Parking is limited on the site, but the neighborhood streets around the hotel off her parking. You can unload in front of the hotel, and then go find a place to park. The breakfast of a yogurt parfait made to order and various pastries was very good. It is close to shopping and dining, and a walk to the beach is just several blocks away. "

"The staff was navigating a change of owners so dealing with new software & other changes; still, very welcoming & helpful when asked. The property is old but the room & grounds seemed pretty clean. Breakfast was basic- variety of pastries & thankfully hard boiled eggs for protein. New owners brought in a fancy coffee machine that dispensed sugar water powder coffee. Thankfully it kept malfunctioning so the staff made us good old fashioned drip coffee from real beans. Hot tub & dry sauna a big plus & very appreciated. "

"Arrived and was given a key but upon going to our room it was still being cleaned. Room layout worked well but the kitchen was not functional. No rack in the stove, they brought a rack that was too narrow so no help. Turned the oven on and the gas smell was overwhelming, had to turn it off. The previous day there was a strong gas smell when we returned after a few hours away. Nothing was even on."

"Very friendly staff all around! Great breakfast included with a fantastic view. Each room is unique so don't count on an ocean view. No A/C or ceiling fans in room; can get warm during the day. Walking distance to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. On a hill so steps are involved / maybe not good for people with mobility issues. Overall great little Inn!"
