A wonderful greeting by the employees and owner at an upscale hotel at the top of Montepulciano .......reserve parking in front for free............We lucked out with a "blues" band playing the night of our arrival at the wine bar below............ a great stop in a great town!!!

Concierge, Luigi is wonderful can do anything. The view across the valley to Montepulciano is worth a special journey in itself. The restaurant is expensive , but a must do at least once. Great, more typical restaurants a few blocks away in little village of Montefollonico. Youre an hour from Montalcino, half hour from Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, half hour from Montipulciano, hour from Florence by autostrada. Siena is also close by car.

This was the most amazing place to stay! This was our favorite stop on a 30-day trip to Greece, Italy and Switzerland. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Our room had a Turkish Bath - what a fun experience. We were a couple of weeks in to our vacation, and we were ready for some down time. Rent a car and drive the Tuscan countryside and stay at this hotel in Montepulciano. Roberto and his wife (princess) Elda were amazing and entertaining hosts. The hotel is right in the shopping and dining district, and there are multiple streets and sights to explore. Wonderful place to stay in the most charming town in Tuscany! Spacious and beautifully appointed room with warm and gracious hospitality and they serve a delicious breakfast. Only we we had stayed 2 nights.

A beautiful and relaxing stay. The breakfast, the thermal baths, all wonderful. The staff is warm and welcoming. The area has some small restaurants (highly recommend Leone only) and a bodega close by. You will love the views!

Our stay at Podere La Rocca was fabulous! The property is located in the rolling Tuscan hills just outside Montepulciano. The property is a working farm and vineyard with an onsite restaurant and pool. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was huge with a new jetted tub. Our experience at Palazzo Nobile di Santa Donato exceeded our expectations. The photos show how lovely the inn is, but they cannot capture the warmth and the history of the Palazzo. Staying there felt as if we were on the inside of a piece of art. A delicious, generous breakfast was served in a beautiful room overlooking the Tuscan hills The hostess was gracious and willing to provide us with information and her time. This hotel set the bar EXTREMELY high for our 2 week vacation. The staff is truly invested in making sure your stay is superb. This is a relatively new-build hotel for Tuscany, but it’s built to look traditional with modern twists. Our room was very spacious and had a modern shower and changing closet.
