"Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms"

"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"I had booked the whole lodge to host my birthday dinner and it was magical! the setting, the decor, the overall feel and atmosphere of the picturesque property was second to non. A real treat ! the most comfortable beds and duvets, magnificent views, wonderfully peaceful, everything we could have asked for and more. Highly recommend for a truly magnificent weekend away."

"The Old Stables provided an excellent base for a few days in this lovely part of the UK. The accommodation was just as described and hosts Nicky and Peter were very friendly and helpful. The welcome pack was a nice addition and we would not hesitate to recommend the Old Stables to anybody thinking of booking it."
