"Great spot, 4 minute walk to beach, and close walk to the restaurants in the area. Josh the manager on site was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was good with fresh fruit, toast, and eggs. Place was very clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend and return!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Hidden Gem – Even Better Than the Photos! This was one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something truly special. The property is absolutely stunning, and the photos don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful it is in real life. The home is perfect for couples, small families, or larger families looking for a private, peaceful retreat surrounded by nature while still being just a 3-minute walk from the beach and great restaurants. It truly offers the best of both worlds. The hosts were exceptional in every way. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodated every request with genuine kindness, and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Their hospitality was simply outstanding. Every morning we looked forward to the delicious, fresh breakfast, and we spent many relaxing hours enjoying the gorgeous pool. One of the highlights of our trip was that our kids took surfing lessons with the owner—they absolutely loved the experience and are already talking about coming back! We traveled with our 17-, 20-, and 24-year-old children, and every single one of us had an amazing time. It’s rare to find a place that everyone in the family enjoys, but this property exceeded all of our expectations. If you’re looking for a beautiful private home with every amenity, incredible hosts, easy access to the beach, and an unforgettable experience, look no further. We can’t recommend this p"

"we loved our little casa in Costa Rica. the property was great..had everything we needed but the host was the true star. VERY helpful and would almost immediately reply when we texted with any questions. the most beautiful sunsets are right across the street (er, dirt road) from you..we had the beach almost to ourselves every time we went. loved the property!"

"We travel all over the world and almost exclusively rent private homes. This was the best home we’ve stayed in, truest to the advertisement, and was simply amazing. We were there for a family vacation with added friends for each of our teenage daughters. They had an amazing time and we feltTotally safe letting them roam the small town nearby via golf cart. The concierge Olga was super responsive and helpful with recommendations and options. We made several last minute changes and ahe managed all of it seamlessly. The host Juan Pablo was welcoming and available. Housekeeping kept us in a clean home everyday. Highly recommend!!!"

"The place was perfect for our 3 families and grandparents, for a total of 16. Each of the 4 couples had their own room with thr grandkids in the two other rooms.The pool was perfect for cooling down after the intense afternoon heat.The beach, where they release turtles, is only steps away. There are also a couple of restaurants right on the beach.You can hear the howler monkeys from the casa and go for a walk and see them!The city of Junquillal did have an issue with their water pump, however, other than reducing laundry loads, it didnt affect us.A couple of days there were multiple power outages that lasted seconds to minutes. One morning had an outage for about 2 hours."

"We have been coming to Playa Junquillal for over 20 years, and this has been our favorite place to stay. (Even according to my 2 picky teenage daughters!) The house is beautiful. It is clean and secure. The grounds are lovely. The house is well-appointed with modern appliances and everything you need to cook or just graze on good snacks and frozen beverages. We used the path to Playa Blanca beach every day. It was a lovely walk in the morning while the teenagers slept in, but it was also the perfect spot to catch the sunset. The house is also close to Junquillal beach, where we would catch a few waves and a bite to eat at one of the many excellent restaurants. If you are looking for the perfect combination of relaxation and access to off-the-beaten-path fun and adventure, this is the place. We loved it!"
