"Nothing but glowing remarks for our stay in the Garden House at Oxenfoord Castle! Beautifully appointed. Very clean. Every supply you could ever need to prepare meals. Fantastic mud room with a great space to wash and fold laundry. Easy access to some of the best coastal golf in East Lothian/Mussleburgh area. 20 minute drive to downtown Edinburgh. Beautiful grounds with deer, pheasant, rabbits. Plentiful parking outside the unit. And above all....VERY accommodating owners. Without diving too deep into the details, we had a miscommunication on our part regarding check-in, but Harriet solved our dilemma immediately and with grace. This was our first trip to Scotland and we plan top return! Many thanks for hosting us and our boys as they competed in the European Championship. Your home made our trip so memorable. "I stayed at this property as part of a 2 week break to Scotland and to prepare for the Edinburgh marathon. The staff were friendly and efficient, choice of food in the Restaurant was good and I used the gym and swimming pool which were also very good! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Portobello beach and either a long walk or bus you are into the centre where all the attractions are. "
